Membership  Committee  News

UCGIS has a total of 84 members with 71 academic institutions. Our other members include professional societies, corporate, international, and government organizations. We are always looking for new members, so if you know someone at a non-UCGIS member institution who is interested in joining UCGIS, have them contact the membership chair (currently mlarson@uwyo.edu ) for further information. We will soon have a Membership FAQ section on the UCGIS web page – which will be a place for people to get specific information about how to submit a membership application to UCGIS. We are also in the process of updating the UCGIS web page to highlight those member institutions who have up-to-date web pages, so look for a change in the membership pages of the UCGIS web site sometime this spring!
